This yarn is a beautiful sock weight yarn from Katia's line of 100% pure wool, hand-dyed with organic materials. This one in particular was dyed using walnuts, which spoke deeply to my love of trees.
In keeping with the nature theme, the pattern this month is for flip-top mitts, which can free your fingers and thumb for taking pictures on leisurely walks outdoors (once it's safe for us to do so again).
