This pattern was a fun challenge to take from vision to reality: a big, floppy, lacey sun hat! With a bit of millinery wire (purchased from a craft store) and a crochet hook (no experience necessary!), the hat has a structured edge for maximum shade. Or, the pattern can easily be modified to make a beanie instead, so you can show off this gorgeous yarn no matter your style.
What You'll Need:
100g fingering weight yarn
3mm (or size needed to meet gauge) DPNs or
circular needles long enough for magic loop
3mm (or size needed to meet gauge) circular
needles with at least a 32” cord for brim
9 stitch markers
~55” of 19 gauge millinery wire
