June has always been a time of celebration for me: sunny days, Pride, and my birthday!
This month, I’m celebrating with Amaranth Fibres. She dyed up my very favourite shade of my favourite colour on her soft and squishy 80/20 sock base.
To show off this perfect pink, we’ll be making a lightly lacey shawl with a gorgeous floral motif. The shape is designed to display the centre motif whether it’s worn as a shawl or a scarf.
And to complete your project, I’ve included a selection of SOAK wash for blocking! Not only is SOAK a Canadian company owned and staffed entirely by women, their no-rinse cleaner is perfect for wool projects, delicate laundry, and bathing suits.
