I thrive most when I’m surrounded by nature, this time of year always reminds me why. The world is brighter, the air smells like hope & renewed life, and even the cold temperatures feel friendlier. I wanted this box to be celebration of spring!
I asked Arcane Fibre Works to dye us something using the colours of spring, and oh boy, did she ever come through. “Spring Bouquet” is a stunning custom colourway that evokes a field of flowers in a beautiful sunny day. And the cushy worsted weight base is absolutely perfect for early-spring projects. I decided to use this yarn for a pair of mittens to protect against the brisk, cold days of March.
And for the oft-needed helping hand for Kitchener stitch (used to give your mitts a seamless finish), I had the Burlington Maker Space create a pocket-sized guide to the seaming method, so you’ll never forget which way to go.
** note, the Just the Yarn option comes with the skein of yarn , without the pattern or extra, vacuum sealed and sent letter mail.
