Now that the holiday season is drawing to a close, it’s finally time to relax, get comfy, and maybe even make something for yourself (unless you’re like me, still working on “better late than never” gifts). With that in mind, I packed this box full of cozy treats to help de-stress after the most hectic time of the year.
First, we have a gorgeous deep tonal blue mohair/silk yarn hand dyed in Toronto by Matchbox Yarn. This lace weight is paired with a soft white sock yarn, held double double to create a DK weight. When knit together, the marled fabric shows off the striking blue tones to perfection.
The pattern is a simple two-row repeat that makes for a relaxing knit, and creates a long scarf knit on the bias with a gorgeous heart-shaped texture.
And finally, the extra goodie is treasure tray. Handmade by a local artist, this cute little dish is perfect for collecting stitch markers and darning needles, spare change, keys, or other small but important items.
Box contains:
- 100g Matchbox Sock and 50g of Matchbox Mohair
- Locally made trinket dish
- Pattern card for I Heart Mohair Scarf
- Link to pdf pattern
** note, the Just the Yarn option comes with the skein of yarn , without the pattern or extra, vacuum sealed and sent letter mail.
