With the summer heat finally breaking and the crisp fall wind in the air, it’s time to get cozy!
This month we partnered up with the illustrious Songbird Yarn & Fibres! Vicki dyes each of her yarns after her favourite birds, and includes information about the bird on the label. I picked the Barn Owl colourway because its gorgeous tonal shades reminded me of drinking a warm drink on a cold day. The yarn is a 75/25 superwash merino/nylon DK weight, and is perfect for autumnal projects.
The project this month is a pair of fingerless gloves, featuring a delicate cable, and an extra-warm foldover cuff. The pattern shows off all the depth of shades of the yarn beautifully.
And to round out this cozy box, we have included an acrylic keychain to remind you that “home is where my yarn is”.
