This onset of beautiful weather has been a wonderful change for my mood, but it’s also making it feel harder to spend so much time indoors. I find I keep putting down my WIPs with beautifully intricate cables or lace that requires constant attention, in favour of small projects I can take outside.
I know I’m not alone in this, so for this month, Amanda (the Indecisive Crafter) came up with a wonderful design for a beautiful wall hanging. Each leaf is worked individually, and is infinitely portable, and the project is finished off with a stick found on your outdoor adventures.
I’m so pleased with how the pattern worked out, but what really makes this project special is the yarn! This gorgeous fibre is a super soft blend of cotton and alpaca, in neutral colours to match any home decor. The the project is finished off to perfect with a set of wooden beads.
