June has always been a time of celebration for me: sunny days, Pride, and my birthday!
This month, I’m thrilled to be partnering with a fellow queer fibre artist Matchbox Yarn! They created the most absolute perfect rainbow speckles yarn to keep the spirit of summer all year round.
To show off this perfect rainbow, I designed a shawl with a simple texture with a knit-on border. Worn as either a scarf or a shawl, the Confetti Cupcakes Shawl is a treat for all seasons.
And to complete your project, I’ve included a selection of SOAK wash for blocking! Not only is SOAK a Canadian company owned and staffed entirely by women, their no-rinse cleaner is perfect for wool projects, delicate laundry, and bathing suits.
